• All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in: Accepted IDs include Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License or Passport. Foreign nationals must provide a passport with a valid visa.
• We are a couple-friendly hostel, but both guests must be 18 years or older to stay.
• For the safety and comfort of all guests, non-registered visitors are not allowed beyond the reception area.

• A full advance payment (100%) is required to confirm your booking unless otherwise stated for specific promotional or seasonal offers. For reservations made with only a partial payment, the remaining balance must be paid in full at the time of check-in.
• Our standard check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges, as determined by the property.
• Our stay is best suited for couples, solo travelers and small groups of friends. Large bachelor groups (more than 6 members) are not accommodated.
• We maintain a strict self-service policy: there is no room service or luggage assistance. This approach ensures a minimal footprint and maximum freedom for travelers.
• Only government-issued photo IDs are accepted for check-in. Local ID cards will not be accepted and entry will be denied in such cases.
• We do not allow outside visitors inside the hostel premises. The property is exclusively for registered guests.
• Alcohol consumption is permitted in designated areas, in accordance with local regulations and the property's discretion. Drug use and substance abuse are strictly prohibited within and around the premises.
• Please be advised that bike and car rentals are not available in Kodaikanal due to local taxi union regulations that aim to support local transportation services.
• All guests driving into Kodaikanal must obtain an e-Pass from the official TN ePass website prior to arrival. We highly recommend using public transport to reach the town comfortably and responsibly.
• Right of admission is strictly reserved by the property. Entry and stay may be refused to anyone not complying with these guidelines.

We understand that travel plans can change. Here's how cancellations and modifications work at 11 Haven Street:

• You may cancel or modify your reservation free of charge up to 5 days prior to your scheduled check-in date. (For instance, if your check-in is on January 8, you can make changes until 11:59 PM on January 3.)
• After this deadline, no changes or cancellations will be accepted, and the full amount will be charged.
• To make any changes or request a cancellation, please email us directly at team11haven@gmail.com with your booking details.
• If you made your reservation through a third-party platform (such as Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, etc.), please note that cancellations or modifications must be handled through the same platform.
• Refunds are initiated promptly from our end, but depending on your payment method or bank, it may take up to 10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
• No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booking, with no exceptions.
• We do not offer refunds for early check-outs or shortened stays, regardless of the reason.

To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, please take a moment to review our house rules:

• Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property for all registered guests.
• Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. All indoor spaces, including dorms and private rooms, are strictly non-smoking.
• Eating inside the dormitories is not allowed to maintain cleanliness and avoid attracting pests. Please use the common dining areas for meals and snacks.
• Any illegal or prohibited activities such as drug use, gambling or possession of banned substances are strictly not allowed. Violating this rule will lead to immediate eviction without a refund.
• Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Lockers are provided for your convenience. The hostel does not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged items.
• Room heaters are provided in all rooms to ensure a warm and cozy stay during colder months.
• Guests will be held accountable for any damage caused to hostel property. Charges will apply based on the extent of the damage.
• Weapons of any kind, including firearms, ammunition, explosives, or any hazardous materials, are not allowed on the premises under any circumstances.
• Right of admission is reserved. We maintain the right to refuse or cancel bookings in case of non-compliance with our policies or disruptive behavior.
